  14. I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned the following information. I spoke
  15. to NewTek yesterday and found out that the Flyer card in the new PC
  16. Toaster/Flyer (PCTFB) is exactly the same card as the Amiga version.
  17. The PCTFB contains a built-in TBC and has room for three removable HDs.

  19. Now why would an Amiga user want the $3,000 box, sans Flyer? Well
  20. apparently the "new" Toaster will do effects a little differently. Some
  21. of them will be the same real-time effects. However, some effects,
  22. particularly the ones that scale video will be *rendered* using
  23. LightWave. Currently there is no Paint program and I forgot to ask
  24. about CG.
